What is July Health and how does it work?
July Health is a virtual integrated clinic for hormone conditions, mental health, and fertility. We offer medical care including diagnosis, prescriptions, and lab work, alongside evidence-based nutrition and mental health support for ongoing management—all in one place.
All our clinicians have lived experience with the conditions they treat, so you’re never starting from scratch explaining your symptoms. Start by booking a consultation online on our website and we’ll help build the right care plan for you.

Virtual Registered Dietitian services available for Canadians living in:British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories.
Virtual Nurse Practitioner and Registered Social Work therapy services available in:Ontario only, we hope to expand to more provinces in 2026!

Do you treat patients of all gender identities?
Yes — July Health welcomes patients of all gender identities. We provide support for hormonal conditions as it affects anyone with ovaries or a uterus, regardless of whether you identify as a woman, non-binary, trans masculine, or otherwise. Your gender identity will never be a barrier to receiving care here.
Our nurse practitioner, Rachel, is a member of the queer community and provides gender-affirming care. Like every clinician on our team, she brings lived experience to her practice, so you’ll never have to explain your identity before you can talk about your health.

Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! If you’re unsure whether our services are the right fit, you can book a 15-minute consultation phone call with a Dietitian using this online booking link, or with a Therapist using this online booking link.
What happens after I book?
Once you book online, you’ll receive:
1. Intake FormsThese must be completed before your session to ensure a productive appointment.
2. Telemedicine InvitationYou’ll be invited to create an account on our secure telemedicine platform, where your video appointment will take place.
What can I expect from my appointment?
Your appointment will be a collaborative conversation, we strive to make sure you feel heard with your medical concerns. We’ll explore topics such as your symptoms, eating habits, lifestyle, or mindset around food. Together, we’ll create a personalized strategy tailored to your goals and needs.
What do I receive after my appointment?
After meeting with a Registered Social Worker, you may receive helpful resources and documents, depending on your needs.
After a Registered Dietitian session, you’ll get an individualized nutrition protocol that may include:
✔ A summary of our discussion
✔ Nutrition and educational handouts
✔ Recipes & food lists
✔ Meal plans (if applicable)
✔ Supplement recommendations (if requested)
If you’re meeting with one of our nurse practitioners, they can provide lab and ultrasound requisitions, certain prescriptions, or medical letters, if indicated.
How do payments and insurance work?
A valid credit card is required to be kept on file, and the session fee is automatically processed at the end of your appointment. A receipt will be emailed to you, which you can use to submit a claim for HSA or insurance reimbursement.
If you’re working with our nurse practitioner, the appointment fee is paid by credit card, while any lab testing or ultrasounds ordered will be covered by your provincial health card. Any prescriptions are subject to your provincial health card and/or insurance drug plan coverages.
We offer direct insurance billing for registered dietitian and therapy services with select insurance providers in Ontario. Book a free consultation to see if your insurer is eligible.
We also accept e-transfers by request. If you’d prefer this option, please let us know in advance at clinic@julyhealth.com.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
Yes! We offer a reduced rate for students or individuals without insurance coverage who need dietitian or counselling support. If cost is a barrier for you, please email us at clinic@julyhealth.com to discuss sliding scale options.
